A forum for film lovers in Leeds. For the last 10 years, Leeds Cineforum has been bringing films from around the world to the city. From experimental Georgian cinema to raucous Italian comedies, U.S. punk documentaries to Chinese slow cinema, we show the best films you've never heard of. We run film screenings accompanied by introductions, discussions, live scores, dance parties and more. Above all, we offer a safe space where you can watch and discuss films with new and old friends. We curate films collectively. We are committed to dismantling the hierarchies between ‘expert’ and ‘audience’: you don’t need to be tied to an institution or organisation to present with us.
