Good Boys Film Club

Good Boys Film Club screens films that explore all elements of masculinity, sexuality, violence, and gender. The aim is: to analyse depictions of men and the male body in cinema, trace their connections to real and mediated violence, and interrogate our relationship to these images as viewers. Violence pervades male identity, both on the screen and in our everyday - its presence lingers, offering little respite. These screenings are a chance to address this, opening up discussion about its pitfalls, repercussions, and possibility for redemption.
