Punishment Park presents Big Leg (live) and Marlene Ribeiro (live)

Punishment Park presents: Marlene Ribeiro (live), Big Leg (live) + Resident DJ’s Mabgate Bleach 8pm - 3am 06/11 Sound will be provided through the hand-built Maenad soundsystem. Our first live performer, Marlene Ribeiro of Rocket Recordings, takes a trip across the Calder Valley to join us, Her solo work is nestled within the ethereal world of avant-garde dream-pop. Her music is luscious and almost ritualistic in its psychedelic appeal, a tender incitement to immerse ourselves in her vivid world. Secondly, Big Leg. Musician, producer, DJ and occasional clown, joining us from Berlin. Rhys’ musical output is certainly eccentric. His solo productions span from scuzzy mutant dubs to junglist, rave-y escapades and all in between.. Expect subdued and sultry sonics, blossoming ballads of despair with dubwise and punk-like inclinations. Watch on as that big leg (and bass guitar) swings. You can also expect to hear the full bag of tricks from resident DJs, Rosie and Alex.
