Lick Quid Gold with DJ Sotofett

We are returning to Hope House in December, this time bringing a long-time LQG favourite to Leeds for the first time ever (!!) and he’ll be putting the stacks to werk from open to close 🪭 DJ SOTOFETT One of the most prolific producers and well regarded DJ’s out there, Sotofett has been doing his thing in the studio and booth for more than two decades. When playing at Giant Steps, Sotofett is renowned for taking dancers on eclectic musical journeys. His own productions are no different, casting a wide net across dub, jazz, electro and plenty in between, released through an ever-expanding family of his own labels. Equally comfortable in more techno-focused territory, his Tresor residency is matched by a string of releases on the Berlin institution's in-house label. Dub to disco to techno, tripped out in Sotofett style. With Leeds’ rich history of dub and soundsystem music, and Sotofett’s own long-standing love for the same, it's a pleasure to be bringing the two together. Leeds 🤝 Sotofett 🤝 LQG All money raised from this party will go to MAP Charity, which provides alternative education for young people who are unable to access the main school education system.
