Flock Foto Zine Launch & Exhibition

Join West Yorkshire’s new photography collective to celebrate our Hyde Park Book Club funded Summer zine & pop-up exhibition in the Snug! Flock Foto are a community led collective for female and non-binary photographic artists offering a space for collaboration, experimentation & peer support. Join us in the Snug to celebrate the launch of our new zine, funded and supported by The Hyde Park Book Club Summer Zine Fund! The zine will feature work created during a pair of workshops, exploring sustainable printing processes and toning with plants sourced from outside the workshop spaces. What to expect: A pop-up exhibition featuring original cyanotypes from the zine. A mini cyanotype station, where you can create your own bookmark from negatives of photos included in the zine. Behind the scenes photos and videos from the Flock's sustainable print workshops this Summer. A chance to meet members of the collective, hear about their work and sign up as a member! The usual HPBC food and drink offer from the bar. Zines will be printed in a limited run of 50, so please book a 'Zine purchase' ticket for this event to guarantee you'll have a zine to take home! No prebooking is needed for the event, but would be helpful to give us an idea of number. The Snug at Hyde Park Book Club has flat access and accessible toilets on site.
