Everybody to Kenmure Street

National Week of Solidarity Film Screening with Right to Remain, Leeds Anti-Raids and Anti-Racist Movement! Join us on Sunday 25 October 2026 for a special screening of Everybody to Kenmure Street (2026), which shows Glasgow residents abandoning their daily routines to gather on Kenmure Street after learning of enforcement officers' plans to deport their neighbors, sparking an impromptu grassroots movement. Following the screening, we'll be joined by Right to Remain, Leeds Anti-Raids and Anti-Racist Movement for a panel discussion and Q&A on how Home Office enforcement, including reporting, raids and detention, affects people, families and all of us. As detention expands and immigration enforcement becomes more embedded in everyday life, we will look at why these are not side issues affecting only a small number of people. They shape our communities, workplaces, services and sense of safety. The discussion will explore what this expansion means in practice, why it matters to resist the normalisation of detention and enforcement, and how we can build collective safety, solidarity and practical support with people at risk. The event is part of Right to Remain's National Week of Solidarity to End Immigration Detention, bringing people and communities together to learn, connect and support one another in the face of immigration enforcement.
