Biodiversity 004 - basic chanel b2b Dj wiggles

Following our Pumping Velvet takeover at Wharf Chambers, we return to Club Eiger for a night of murky rhythms and sub bass with an extended b2b set from two of our favourite up-and-coming DJs - basic chanel & DJ Wiggles ——————— Making her Leeds debut, Kinetic LDN founder Dj wiggles, has been one of the most sought after selectors on the London scene over the past few years — with regular appearances at some of the big smoke’s best clubs such as Fold, Venue MOT and Ormside Projects alongside the likes of Lena Willikens, DJ Nobu & Donato Dozzy. Also playing in Leeds for the first time, basic chanel is a London-based DJ, writer and founder of Untitled 909. Her sound navigates between hypnotic techno, psychedelic dub, and bass music, delivered with the patience of a storyteller. These two friends are now regulars on the European club and festival circuit and are a duo we have been looking to bring to the north for some time - we were buzzing when they agreed to play together for the first time outside of London Long time friend and sometimes resident, J Shaw, will be opening proceedings, bringing his infectious mixture of broken beats and deep basslines. Brains behind the party, Joe FM will also be playing off the back of his closing set at Wharf last time out. Expect mind-bending techno, hypnotic twisted rhythms, low-end psychedelia and more, as we go down the wormhole to the deep and dreamy outer-realms of bass music. ——————— All profits from this party will be going to ‘YIARI’, a nonprofit organization based in Indonesian Borneo that has been doing vital work protecting and supporting endangered wildlife and indigenous peoples throughout the recent devastating fires in Kalimantan.
