Archive of Home: Fundraiser for Gaza

Join us on the 15th of November at HPBC for a fundraiser for @frameless.0 – a Palestinian collective supporting children and artists in Gaza City! Doors open at 6.30pm where you can visit our pop-up exhibition - Archive of Home, featuring works from artists across Gaza who have visualised what home means to them. We will also be selling art prints and comics based off children’s interpretation of daily life in Gaza. Expect a night of great music, art and people – featuring local Leeds DJs: Eyo96, Slaya, ihatenoise, ilionlostherbs, and bundy. About Frameless: Children in Gaza are growing up in circumstances where much of daily life is shaped by uncertainty, disruption and pressures that affect the whole family. Through our workshops, children will be able to imagine and express themselves without being told what their work should look like or what the right answer is. Ultimately, we hope they leave with more than a drawing. We hope they leave having experienced a space where they were given time, attention, and freedom to explore what beauty means to them, and where their stories and ways of seeing were taken seriously enough to become part of something larger. Over time, we hope Frameless can grow into a platform that connects children, artists, and creative communities in Gaza with people and spaces beyond it. We want it to be a place where people can meet, experiment, collaborate, and have their work taken seriously, while continuing to grow with the people who shape it.
