2FUNKiE (Carnival Afterglow)

It's that time again, and we're doing our bit to keep the post Carnival blues at bay. Hosted by our iconic resident @kingunkownamazon, expect to hear a blend of Funk, soul, Jazz, Reggae, Latin, Calypso, Kompa, Global and more! with our resident MC @hadasssaaah on the mic. The first West Indian carnival parade organised by British Caribbeans and composed largely of black people in cultural costume took place in Leeds in 1967. This night is all about honouring the rich culture and importance of Carnival through the trusty 2FUNKiE lens Set list:Our resident DJ @shes_sami x2 DJ’s and x3 Performers to be announced 👀. All announcements will be on our grid so keep an eye out!
