 Based on the semi-autobiographical experiences of Omagh musician Mark McCa
 usland\, The Spin follows Dermot and Elvis\, two best friends who are down
  on their luck. They face losing their beloved record shop\, Boneyard Reco
 rds\, as their ruthless landlord Sadie is eager to evict them due to unpai
 d rent.\n\nThe pair stumble across rare vintage records by blues legend Ro
 bert Johnson that are for sale in Cork at a knock-down price. If they can 
 make it across Ireland in time\, they might be able to change their fortun
 es and save the record shop!\n\nThey set off on a chaotic road trip full o
 f playful banter\, lively conversations\, unexpected encounters\, new frie
 ndships and shenanigans in pursuit of the holy grail of vinyl records.\n\n
 This is a sweet and uplifting comedy about two lifelong music fans\, their
  friendship\, the role music plays in their lives\, and the lengths they g
 o to protect the things that matter most to them whilst chasing their drea
